Coming correct

In a brilliantly-written piece, the Guardian’s writer Hugh Muir exposes those that never tire of attacking ‘political correctness.’

By Simon Woolley

His case for defending ‘PC’, is strong as it is thoughtful. Interestingly, I thought the floodgates of hatred would have opened after such as piece. But no. Detractors have come forward in huge numbers but many have sought to defend Muir’s piece, including the Hackney MP Diane Abbott.

So, the next time someone at work on elsewhere starts spouting on about ‘PC gone mad’, Muir’s article would be a good place to start.
