Don’t go, O!

So farewell, then, to the Oprah Winfrey Show, a legend of the schedules, which is due to finish in 2011

A seat on Oprah’s sofa was coveted by A-list celebrities, the place for an exclusive heart-to-heart.

Her earthy, in-touch-with-emotions, style and her interviews with authors of self-help books and suchlike has won Winfrey a worldwide army of die-hard fans.

But fear not, we have not seen the last of the great woman, who by common consensus would walk it into the White House should she decide to rule the world.

After almost two decades of the Oprah Winfrey Show, the multi-millionaire wants to concentrate on launching her own TV network, and why not?

With a best-selling lifestyle magazine, books and a host of other interests, the addition of her own global television station makes sense.

So the dedicated millions of fans whose hearts jumped a beat at the very thought that Oprah might not have a show rest easy, Oprah is very much with us. She cares too much to leave us now.
